With no reply a few days later, this guy gets really pissed.

I think one of the most useful formats ever exchanged on the Internet (of course, besides all .exe's) is the '.torrent' file. I mean damn!, you can get absolutely anything you want.

Downloadable files can range from anything between Music artist's albums, installers, movies (in all possible formats), e-books, full-version video games (PC, PS, PSP, X-BOX).

It truly represents the democratic nature of the online community - For the Users, By the Users. No agencies are involved, no paperwork, no hassles and best of all - FREE!! All you'll ever need is an internet connection.

A Programmer Bram Cohen had designed the protocol in April 2001 and released its first implementation on July 2, 2001.

It is now maintained by Cohen's company BitTorrent Inc. There are numerous BitTorrent Clients available for a variety of platforms.

According to Isohunt - one of the major bittorrent sources, the total amount of shared content was more than than 1.7 Petabytes in 2008. (1 petabyte is = 1,000 Terabytes = 1,000,000 Gigabytes = 1,000,000,000 Megabytes)

Zynga Poker - Buddy Hell!!

I've been a Zynga Poker addict for 2 months now, and damn proud about it.

I play everyday on facebook, and there was a time when I looked forward to a new day so I could sit at a table, hurl abuses at random Lebanese, Turkish & Alhug-mug guys and take all their money.

I love it for one main reason - I hate gambling with real money. This allows me to do anything I want with no consequences to bother about.

But of late, I have seriously started to believe that the entire thing is kinda rigged man. For one thing, I only seem to be getting cards that are only between 2 and 9. I have not seen a face card for weeks now.

You also see these ghost players joining a table, going all-in, getting a 3-of-a-kind on the turn & the river card and disappearing altogether....

I was ok with it before - when I had nearly 5 million chips and lost around 10K on a hand - but certain games I have lost more due to tables 'hanging' and these "ghost players".

I did a little research and found that actually there are poker bots available that automatically calculate odds and bet according to loads of possible plays from their databases.

I also found that it was too late for me to use one of these things because Zynga had already made changes and enhanced their poker interface security.

DAMN, just when I found an easier way to win (fake) money....

I'm still playing it now. In all fairness, I did admit to be an addict in the beginning.

This has to be one of the funniest contraptions that I have ever come across (besides of course - The Fleshlight - another really hilarious product for the really, really lonely guy)

The tagline states - "Don't take life sitting down"

The manufacturers define it as a FUD (Female Urination Device), whatever the fuck that is....
I'll agree its practical to an extent, but WTF??? Whats next, a trouser balloon for guys to pee in so that they don't have to use a crowded loo? Are women supposed to wear these things when they leave home, or carry it with them? If they carry it - wouldn't they need a loo to wear it or put it on?

Bluetooth for the Iphone

Came accross this app for the iPhone recently from a friend, allows all iPhones to send and receive files (images, videos & audio files) via Bluetooth transfer. Of course, nothing can be read without syncing with iTunes, but at least it will be there on the damn phone's HDD.

Kinda thrashed the whole uniqueness of the 3G-s right.
A friend rightly put it that it's pointless to spend another 20K just for GPS and bluetooth transfer, which incidentally, the 3G-s can send and receive files only from another 3G-s.

Apple really plays their OS's close to their chest, why bother - cause for every security system, there is always a burglar who's more advanced and smarter.
